Is There Such A Thing?
I thought that boxing day was just a fad where stores announce big sales and then mark things down to their regular prices, or maybe just announce the regular prices as if they were sale prices.
The only thing I would buy on Boxing Day is Christmas paraphenalia for next year.

Finally someone who gets it. In todays market "boxing day" is NOTHING.
From an electronics standpoint, the market beats the hell out of pricing all year, there isn't much left to discount. So what do you get? Retailers bring in off brand products, and previous years models at "discount" prices. Not only that, they will limit them to so many per store and then have people in line for 6 plus hours to grab this "deal".
Now, OTHER industries like cloathing and furniture that operate with rather high gross margins. You can certainly seek out deals there.

It depends on the year... and on what you're looking for.
Last year, Boxing Day sucked at FS/BB, IMO. The two years before, there were some serious deals, though after big MIRs. e.g. two years ago I bought a BenQ 52X CD-RW for $4.99-after-MIR. There's sometimes software for half price, like Nero or Norton SystemWorks, etc.

boxing means nothing now.
retailers have realized they only need very limited quanities of moderately priced items to get people into the store. Unlike years past, where they'd have ridiculously priced goods, then have many other good deals once they ran out. Oh, well.
