nice find op... anyone have an opinion on whether these would likely discourage raccoons from the backyard, or would the raccoons get used to the lights and just keep triggering them? ('my' raccoons are pretty bold - they come right up the back stairs and stare through the glass kitchen door at night :!: )

whats the thermal sensor?

it only lights up if its an actual person?
yeah I'm guessing that it detects thermal motion so a newspaper blowing past won't trigger the light but an animal walking by will.

Toronto raccoons aren't scared of anything. I have a security light on my back deck and when I see it turn on, I will glance outside and usually see them walking around on the deck. They only walk away after I bang on the window a bit. Next morning, I will see that they've left me some "presents" on the deck.

Good find OP.
The light on mine just burnt out so it'll probably be cheaper to replace the whole unit at this price :cheesygri

I don't think its really a sale. Regular price is $19.99.

The coupon book is provided by OPA gives $15 discount on all Energy Star rated lights. It can be picked up at Home Depot as well.

But it is a great price after the discount :cheesygri
