[The Source] $25 gift card on $150 online purchase (YMMV)

Received the following email:

Complete your order now and get a $25 Gift Card when you spend $150 or more with us.*
Hi
Your order is still waiting for you. Complete your purchase now to get a $25 Gift Card when you spend $150 or more.* Just add Web ID 8019172 to your cart and then enter Promo Code: TS255G0VY7L to get your FREE $25 Gift Card. But hurry! This offer won't last long.
*Excludes oversized items and shipping to Northern Territories.

Read carefully:
I was not able to add the Web ID to my cart and called a CSR who asked me to complete the order, she stayed on line with me, I gave her the order number, and she then told me that she is shipping me a gift card separately. She appeared to be fully aware of the Web ID problem, never asked me any questions other than telling me to complete the order. The whole phone call lasted less than 5 min.

Unlike Staples, no computer/tablet restrictions, I got it on a tablet purchase.

yeah, the source seems to have doubled their prices on everything site-wide. I was looking at games (not on sale) that went from 9.99 to $19.99, $19.99 to $39.99 and even one at $6.99 that jumped to $59.99. it's the same with some laptops and cameras - big price jumps.

hopefully this just means they're gearing up (fake prices) for their next "up to 60% off sale" where the *sale* prices will be 25% off *real* prices. more and more retailers are pulling this trick.
