This doesn't help the OP, but anybody going for a bachelor party, I recommend this itenerary:
Dinner at the Keg Fallsview. Awesome view, good food.
Fallsview Casino. My buddy won $4000 at my bachelor party, I won $680. Don't expect to win though, it's rare.

Great itinerary for a 5 & 8 yr old!
Op, check out the sites already listed for you. The new Fury attraction seems to be a hit with all ages. They would probably really enjoy the Butterfly Conservatory and Birds of the Wild. There is lots to do on the Hill as well for that age group as well as Marineland as a fallback.

I clearly said not for the op and the thread title said "things to do in Niagara Falls" so a lot of people without families might read it.
