Things to do at Vancouver BC
I will be going to Vancouver from June 15 - June 25 and was wondering if there any suggestions on what I should go check out or do? I will be taking a tour (June 17 - June 21) going to different location such as Banff etc.
Any suggestion will be great

The night market did open last Friday (I went) but it may not have food stalls by mid-June.
Not really worth it because of the low quality goods._______________

Banff is pretty far from Vancouver.
I would take a trip up to Whistler, and do some downhill biking. They rent you the bike and you take the chair lift up with the bike on the back. Nice pleasent ride down in a proper full suspension bike.
Whistler is beutiful.
I also recommend whale watching. I did it while in Boston and its a cool site if you've never seen it before.

So you decided to go to vancouver, without knowing what to do there?
Banff is about 7 hours away. But it's a great drive.
Search this forum for what to do in Vancouver, then check out lonely planet thorntree forums.Last edited by originalnutta; Jul 11th, 2008 at 03:20 PM.

Banff is actually in Alberta so it's quite far, Whistler would be a good alternative though

There are quite a few AYCE sushi places around Vancouver. I think overall the quality is decent...there isn't one that I can think of that is exceptional compared to the others. Here are some places that I could think of off the top of my head. You can read ppl's reviews and see the addresses at dinehere.ca
Vancouver
BC Sushi
Shabusen (sushi & Korean BBQ) - They have two locations. The one downtown had a fire recently so I'm not sure if they have reopened
Fish on Rice
Ebei
Kingsway Sushi
Richmond
Ninkazu / Tomokazu
Richmond Sushi
Aji Toro
Shota
