For those who liked My Sassy Girl (Windstruck)
Another movie done by her with the same director. While it's not as funny, it's equally, if not more, touching as the first one. Definitely worth checking out if you liked the first one, if you haven't seen the first one, well... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!!!

Anyone here know if there is a place that sells Korean DVDs (or rents them) - I don't want VHS tapes from the little video stores on Bloor.

I liked the movie, but not the ending. Did they try to tie-in Sassy Girl to this movie??? It made me go "huh"?
Would be nice to have a girl as nice as her though. She's beautiful!

Sep 22nd, 2004 11:21 PM #8they sorta imply that its a prequel to My Sassy Girl... well from the ending of Windstruck it made me think that way... o_O ...

yeah... but timeline-wise, in Sassy Girl, both of them were students. Windstruck, she's working as cop...
But I guess she could quit and go back to school though... hmm...?

Windstruck was a very average movie...even Teach me English was more funny....The Classic was much better.

her name is Jeon Ji-Hyun, ppl!
i still haven't seen Windstruck yet and will get around to it later tonight. you can get both "My Sassy Girl" and "Windstruck" on DVD in chinese malls.
"Windstruck" is not released on DVD or home video in Korea yet. but has already been released in Hong Kong due to the fact that Edko (the video distributors of the Hong Kong Edition) has taken part in producing this movie.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but just wanted to comment on this movie....
Already saw My Sassy Girl before seeing this. I kind of notice that Jeon has a bit of a cross-eye, in that scene when she cries? The movie uses the same formula as My Sassy Girl, being a prequel, that's understandable, and I agree this movie as not as funny as My Sassy Girl.
The music adds quite a bit to the movie, made it that much more enjoyable. The chinese audio translation sometimes seems off, but adds to the movie as well.

someone made this funny theory that "Windstruck" is a fictional depiction of the sassy girl's past as thought by Geon-Woo (Cha Tae-Hyun, from "My Sassy Girl")_.

AFAIK, Windstruck is in no way related to My Sassy Girl
Il Mare, also starring Jeon Ji-Hyeon, is a great romance story. I think Hollywood is going to remake it._______________
