Thoughts on the Grohe Smart Control Dual Theromstatic?

Has anyone even installed one of these? Is it good? I need it for the rain shower and hand shower so i was thinking of getting the one with two buttons.

Looks like this

If not, what do you recommend for a shower valve prefer in black and needs to be dual. I need it for rain shower and handheld shower

Thanks,

I'd install a thermostatic mixer with a separate diverter for the hand shower. You're much less likely to have issues sourcing parts down the road.

Something like a Delta 17T and R11000 Diverter.

We bought the Grohe SmartControl when we redid our bathrooms last year. So far, we're very happy with it. If you have any specific questions, let me know.

We got it through www.homecomfortcentre.com. At the time it was cheaper than any other place we could find (although still expensive, mind you).
