I post a lot of new contest threads in Contests forum.
When the contests end, the mods move them from Contests forum to Expired Contests forum, which makes sense.
However every moved thread generates an automatic "Thread Moved" notification via PM (a side-effect is that since I've subscribed to email notifications for when i receive a PM, I also get an email every time one of my started threads gets moved).
This morning I woke up to 39 PMs (and 39 emails) waiting for me, telling me that X thread had been moved.
I asked one of the mods, and he said that they have no control over this. Perhaps you could consider giving the mods the option to disable the auto notification?
Thanks.

"Thread Moved" notifications - is there a way to disable that?

Yes we can disable this option. Two issues with disabling it. First, can't do it on a user by user biases and second, it reduces the transparency with the community when we move threads.
I am fully willing to disable it but I think the community would object to it._______________

So I just noticed that I've stopped receiving these notifications.
Did you guys implement a way to disable it selectively, or is there a bug?
