i played a demo of it at pax east, it was alright, but i was comparing it back to the DD on nes, which i played a lot as a kid. good thing its free for ps+, i would hav prbly waited for a price drop to actually get it.

Thanks for the post. Need my PS+ updates and sales that can be had. hadn't see any threads on it in a while.

Most people look at PS+ as just renting games that you don't get to keep. What they fail to realize is you are renting games for $50 a year on games that generally cost $10-$20 a pop with easily one each week made available to you. Its renting cause you don't own but the value in gaming hours is ridiculous. Basically, you may be able to survive simply on downloading that one game a week, finishing it and then starting the next free games available you. New game every week for $50 a year. Do you really need to own a game and will you honestly replay the game.

Just to reiterate, people use to rent games for $5 a pop that lasted a week. For this one, you rent for your subscription life and get a mountain of games at a fraction of the cost. Other perks include full free games like Infamous 2, etc.

So you paid 50$/year to RENT these games/movies. Half of them are horrible and somes are good.

Still not worth it imo. I prefer to buy games that i will actually play.

Got 1-2 months of PS+ for free last year and it sucked. All i had was game demos and some games that stopped working after the subs ended.

lol y does there always have to be a ps+ vs Xbox live gold debate? I'm a strong 360 supporter but I can recognize the short comings of gold and the benefits of ps +. Granted my issue with ps+ is that the free games I either played or don't care about, however if the free games appeal to you and like to take advantage of the discounts then it's a great service.
