Did the GC promo only apply for yesterday, or can I still take advantage of it today?

Maybe they have buyers on the wait list? They know someone will take it so didn't bother to give out discounts. That's what happened to my store. Last display unit with no discount

Gotta pick mine up from ct.
Could someone pls tell me if this comes in a cardboard box/package and if so approx dimensions? Or is it just the actual cargo box?
I haven't put the rack on my camry yet and i'm hoping it'll fit in the trunk...

It comes in a cardboard box. Dimensions are same as the cargo box coz it perfectly fits in the cardboard box.

Unit itself is 193 x 84 x 42 cm or 76”x33”x16.5”
(That’s the Large model)

The Alpine is 225 cm long so that a foot longer.

no way you;ll get it in the trunk of a camry in the box, might fit it in a minivan with all the seats removed.

For the scientific minded people, such equipment on the roof of your vehicle increases gas consumption by about 3-5 mpg. So if you were getting an average of 25 mpg you will now get close to 20 mpg.

Sorry metric people with your L/100 kms you will need to do your own conversion. Above info is courtesy of Consumer Reports who did the testing.
that's a lot better mileage than pulling a trailer, or making a second trip... also that seems flawed, there has to be a difference based on the type of roof top item, whether its a molded aerodynamic box like these, or one of those canvas bags, etc... i am sure it'll impact things a slight amount, and i am sure most people are aware of this... generalizing about it seems silly.

I've been eyeing on the Thules from Canadian Tire for a while, and I thought 30% is just a normal sale.
Just the 30 dollar cash card is bonus

It's usually 20% and on sale roughly quarterly.

There are no apostrophes in plurals! "I have 1000 posts" = correct. "I have 1000 post's" = incorrect!
Could've, would've, should've. It's simple English, people!

The lesson to learn from this is that one should have this thing on its roof only when needed. But I doubt anyone would go through the trouble of removing and re-installing it. So you pay a penalty 12 months/year.
it actually takes about 30 seconds to install or remove it, i'd definitely do it if i had somewhere to store it... but then also occasionally you dont really know you're gonna want/need it until its too late and then it doesn't do you much good in the garage

For sure I wouldn’t keep it on all year round. Very easy to install and remove. I’m not even sure I’ll keep the crossbar on all year, but I might. I only need the box for road trips.

I’ve never seen them at 30%. 20% a few times but never 30%.

I could see a roof box useful for a ski or camping trip but when people have these all year round on their roof with no purpose at all then it's a little ridiculous.
