Thumbs Down: Ho-Shim at FCP

Went here for lunch today, expected to get half-decent food. Price for the bento box ranged from $7.95-$1x.95. The chicken teriyaki was not served hot, plus the chicken was pretty hard as well.

Considering the cost and the location, you are deservedly paying for what you get. The one thing that did brush me the wrong way was their service levels (just below average... not horrendous) and them charging for $1 for tea per person. Just my two pennies

Thanks for the tip. I generally avoid most of those dine-in restaurants catered to the folk who work downtown. I work in that area also and mostly get food from the general food court.

Ho Shim take out/fast food counter is pretty decent. Being a vegetarian and all, the food is pretty damn cheap for downtown. I usually get a mix veggie on rice for $3.74 + tax = $4. You can't really complain about getting a filling meal for 4 bux downtown. The only downside is that eating it 2 days in a row makes me sick.

I haven't tried the meat dishes, maybe someone else can elaborate.
