LOL, you have your own thread complaining about ticketmaster. Good try tho.
The bottom line is what if TM didn't allow the ticket to be reissue ? This thread would not even come up. The OP would've just have to swallow his/her pride because his/her clumsiness and buy another set of tickets.

I side with the OP on this one. Though I'm surprised that they actually came up with a fee (or at least charged you) to get another ticket. Maybe since they are heavy on having you print the ticket at home now, they've put in a fee for hard copy tickets?
Back in the day, I had Ticketmaster change my "hard copy ticket" to an e-ticket so I could print it at home when I selected "pick up at Ticketmaster outlet" and it was a Sunday, the night of the event and there were no Ticketmaster's actually open (back when they pretty much had none in the city of Toronto) ... maybe because of my circumstances? I don't know.
Thing with e-tickets though is I know from experience, the first question anyone asks me when I have tickets is, "Are They Hard Copy" and if they are, the conversation continues ... if they are not, it ends.
Plus the hard copy ticket might get broken, but I've always wondered what would happen if I fold up the piece of paper a million times (like you would when you take the TTC to the Air Canada Centre) or what if it rains and gets wet (like it would while you're waiting in one of the lines that happens to be outside) ...
For those reasons, I actually ALWAYS choose hard copy and I have a hate on for e-tickets. Yes, you can print them over and over but I think that's the concern as well. It's just paper._______________

Did you not read anything past the first sentence?
I said that they've actually changed printing methods for me before, essentially a "re-print" ... I've bought so many tickets through the years, I'm sure I've had them re-print as well (like he did).
Yeah, they have to swallow his pride/take the loss, but they can still complain it about it here._______________

The OP shouldn't lose the original form of the ticket, I agree 100%
They did, and since you pay so much for the tickets to begin with, you wouldn't assume that there's a $15 reprinting fee.
That's Ticketmaster's choice, the OP learned a lesson and will take better care of their tickets.
Yes, a $15 fee seems a little high for choosing a form of tickets (hard copy) that can't be re-issued over and over, like e-tickets.
I'm not going to go in circles here lol ... I'm just saying, I side with the OP. Ticketmaster should be able to have a customer service-friendly face. They don't._______________

I guess you resort to name calling when a discussion doesn't go your way. As you said earlier not all venues are unable to accept ticketfast as the venue doesn't have scanners to scan the tickets. So if the venue is unable to scan the ticket then why would they take a print out then. You can't blame Ticketmaster if the venue doesn't have the ability to scan the tickets as that is up to the venue to have that ability to do so

The thing is that Ticketmaster doesn't have a need to really have that customer service - friendly face because they just sell the tickets for the event and in the majority of events they are the only ones you can get the tickets from unless you buy from scalpers. Either way Ticketmaster still gets their money
I wonder how the OP will get tickets to an event that goes through Ticketmaster next time? Ticketmaster whether we like them or not is basically a Monopoly in this business.
Try buying tickets through a scalper and then tell them can you replace my tickets they got wet and the ink faded. I wonder what their replacement fee would be?
