[Tidal] 6 months free streaming

tidal.com/444tour2017

No idea if there are restrictions to this promo but worked for me. Got the link from the Montreal stop of 4:44 tour.

Looks like its the cheaper plan/audio. Not the high end quality. But good deal for sure.

thanks OP. If only this was the hiFi, my 6 month promo is coming to an end...

I would use the promo again but Tidal is a pain for saving music for offline play on your phone.

Funny story... I was already on a 3 month trial subscription of Tidal HiFi from that Seinsheiser app promo posted on RFD not too long ago... When I signed up for this promo on a new account I realized it was the Premium sub so decided to chance it and upgrade to HiFi to see if 6 months free would still apply... It didn't, the subscription end date changed from 6 to 3 months out (makes sense... $60 value)... I decided to shoot a quick message to Tidal explaining that I didn't realize I would lose my 6 months if I chose HiFi and they applied an additional 3 months to my HiFi... YMMV!

I have an iPhone 6. I find that sometimes it doesn't download properly especially if the app is in the background.

Ohhh im now on android and will see how it performs. Tidal has been struggling for a long time. I am really surprised there still around. I know it was sold awhile back or last yr. Still struggles I think.

Thanks so much, OP! If you don't want to have your username be your email addy, just add a name under 'settings' and it will start showing your name automatically.

Vanilla prepaid credit card worked great, and you can cancel immediately if want, and still have the full 6 mos. of premium streaming (which is a bit better suited for those when streaming over cellular data, as mentioned in other posts.)

That being said, I am tempted to start paying for my membership when this runs out, it is an excellent music service.

Great find, OP, thanks again.

Edited to say OP, thank you so much for not posting in the 'freebies' as this is a HOT freebies deal that should be in the hot deals section. Glad you posted here.

Have only heard bad things in the news previously, so can someone let me know what benefits this has over Spotify aside from sound quality?

So it isn't HI-FI music on this promo? I am still signing up to check it. Thanks.

I’m assuming it’s not hifi since it’s $9.99.
