How is Tidal compared to Spotify, does it have a big catalogue of songs? Free is good, but I also saw the post about Spotify Premium 99 cents for 3 months. They have the biggest catalogue around.

Not wanting to be a smart guy here, but why don't you just sign up and try Tidal? It's free!
For that matter, if you really want to do a side by side comparison, pay the $.99 and get Spotify as well. Only YOU can tell if either has what you want.

Yeah I can do that too, but sometimes its not worth the effort even if its free. Was just asking if anyone actually did that and what they thought.

IMO Tidal is better as they provide random streaming of music festivals and special concerts. It’s a nice extra in addition to just music. You should really try it for the 6months.

In my experience it's really solid. I don't think I've yet come across a situation where they didn't have a song I was looking for. My only issue is there is no back button on the lock screen app. No idea why so many of these music apps refuse to have a back button.

It could just be my browser, or the way the internet feels today (yeah, it's sentient), but when I click the link provided in the first post, I get a standard landing page for TIDAL prompting me to login or sign up. I had checked the link when this was first posted, and it led to a 4-4-4 promo page stating the deal was on until December 31. I waited until now because my previous TIDAL membership just ran out.

Is this dead, or is there another way into the promo?
