[Cineplex] TIFF [Toronto International Film Festival] 40% off Discounted Tickets

Just got this in a newsletter I subscribed to, in time for the weekend, 40% off tix,
makes it more affordable.

You can view film schedules and buy these discounted tickets directly through the TIFF online box office. not all movies are available, but there's still tix for some great films.

You must order tickets thru this link

https://tickets2.tiff.net/WEBTIXSTICKET ... 2155164590

Use promo code "uniqfest12" (without the ''s) at the checkout when purchasing your tickets.
or
You can use the cineplex code Enter code: "cineplexfest12" (thanks to psubs)

Works out to be $14.48 (with discount code) per ticket V.S $23.38 (without discount code)after taxes and fees.

The site will be updated with additional screenings on September 11, so bookmark the web page.
Check back on Tuesday September 11th for a new list of eligible screenings.

Enjoy!

I don't like the fact that you don't see the discount applied until AFTER the transaction is completed. Are we sure it's taking a full 40% off every screening?

I tried multiple times, the code wont on the full schedule site....It does say that more screenings will be available after next Tuesday Sept. 11.

And yes the code does take 40% off the pre tax inflated price of $19.69, but then they add a $1 service charge (per ticket)and tax on top of that, you're still getting a deal in the end. Its still works out to be waaaaay cheaper than not using the code.

Yeah, I bought two tickets with code and without.

All-in prices:

With code: $28.96
Without code: $46.76

On the Uniq website, where the code originates, it says that it's only for Uniq Lifestyle subscribers. Might be a silly question, but is there any chance that someone at the door is going to validate that you're a uniq subscriber?

If so, use the Scene discount I found. http://forums.redflagdeals.com/scene-ti ... s-1226051/

I'm sure more people have a Scene account.

so people are able to use the code for after Sept 11 screenings?

I wouldn't doubt it, how can you prove that your a subscriber and the people checking wouldn't have posted it on a public site if they were so concerned.
There's also plenty of other 40% off codes floating around. I heard a rumor that there's a 60% off code as well.
Basically Tiff offers these discounts to various companies or sponsors to encourage people to buy tickets and watch these films.

I'll post the other codes in this thread as well.
