Wait another month or two. The prices will get back to what they used to be if not lower if no one starts jumping at these prices. A bunch of speculators is what's keeping the prices up.
Also notice how SSD prices started to drop because HD prices are starting to return to normal. Next few month is going to be a good time to be an RFDer.
SSD manufacturers could've cornered the market during this so-called HD-shortage. But they chose to play the usual game of 'milk the existing products for as high of a price as you can' instead of innovating and changing the playing field in their favor.

So you don't have to add it to cart...
For the lazy, the cost of that router is $29.97.

Depending on when your drive was manufactured, these Seagates may only carry a one year warranty: http://www.techpowerup.com/156962/Seaga ... HDD-s.html

Wait till Jul-Aug for HDD purchases.
Component shortages from floods in Thailand are expected to stabilize by Q2-2012 and the prices will come down considerably which is probably why there are a lot of sales on HDDs going around. I guess the retailers are trying to milk the "storage" cow one last time. To me, $40-45/TB is already premium pricing and $30-35/TB is a fair price for non-enterprise HDDs.
For comparison, I paid the exact same price for 1.5TB three years ago and I knew I was paying a premium.
My 1.5¢.

TD's page lists 3 years at the bottom. I will be printing and PDF'ing it. Otherwise I was going to get 3 year square trade.
Thanks OP!
