*According to SiliconDust's website http://www.silicondust.com/products/...run-ca-canada/ the CA version is the same as the US version. That was something that was bugging me but it appears it's not an issue.
**Newegg's deal is at $79 and has free shipping, but it comes out to about $89 due to tax where I live. So depending on your tax situation, Newegg may be as good. You may want to check both sites. I don't know taxes in other provinces so I'll leave it to you guys to sort

Yes as long as you already have your OTA antenna set up to pick up the OTA broadcasts. You hook this up to the antenna and run the software to scan for channels, then you can stream across your home network and enjoy the content.

How do you record TV? Does it wake up a PC on LAN to record, or does it have it's internal hard drive?

Jan 1st, 2013 11:20 PM #11It does not have an internal hard drive. It's a tuner that can broadcast over your home network. I don't know if it wakes the PC on your LAN to record.
