This is what they are putting out to compete with McDonald's $1 coffee. I wonder how much business is down? I haven't been to Tim's since the mcds promo has started.

Keep in mind this is not a "sausage breakfast sandwich". That one has egg and cheese in it. This is a simpler version (along the lines of McD's "Sausage McMuffin" vs "Sausage 'n Egg McMuffin" I guess).

This.

I suppose it's an ok deal if you frequent Tim's, but with the $1 coffee promo at McD, it costs almost the same for the same two items.

Also note that McDonald's Sausage McMuffin comes with cheese and the Tim's one doesn't.

I don't know if this is the official launch or something but I've been taking advantage of this deal for the past two weeks now in the downtown core and every time i order this on the mobile app i always end up getting the full on sausage breakfast sandwich, not this simple version. Don't know if the employees just don't care or they're instructed to do this.

medium coffee and a breakfast sandwich for under $3 is a pretty good deal in my books.

Looks as if you did not even read OP's original post - clearly identified the similar version of the McD offering.

I was referring to the thread title, which says "sausage breakfast sandwich". If you walk up to the counter and order a "sausage breakfast sandwich", you will be charged $3.xx. It is a different product. Yes the text in the OP says "mcdonalds (sic) sausage is 1.99" but that does *not* "clearly identify" the difference between a Sausage McMuffin and a Sausage 'n Egg McMuffin IMHO. I'm just trying to spell it out for those who don't live off fast food like I do. Title is misleading.
