everybody has got their own cards now. pizza pizza, BK, McDonalds, and now tim hortons.

I just activated my card online and it said that the balance on my card is $10.00, but the thing is, I never even paid them $10 lol. So did I just score 10 bucks from them or am I missing something here?

Its probably because tim hortons is still using the old panasonic tills that are like 25 years old. newer tills that all other businesses with gift cards use require you to pay before being able to put a balance on the gift card. funny how tims can have lcd/plasma menuboard screens but wont upgrade their cashier system.
