[Tim Hortons] Double the rewards AND double "Roll up the rim" at Tim Hortons

If Tim Hortons is your thing, you can accumulate 2x the points with your orders until March 18th. I think it used to be that you'd get your 7th coffee free, now you need 70 points(35 points during the promotion). I used it for the last two days and my point total went up by 20 points each time. No idea yet if double the points will continue after I get my reward.

You'll need the app and select the reward you're trying to get before your purchase.

Edit: please don't downvote because you don't like timmies! I'd rather get my coffee at McDonald's but there's none on my way to this work site right now! :)

2x the Points Offer Terms
*As a registered guest who has selected a Reward Level, you will receive 20 points per eligible purchase (greater than $0.50, excluding applicable taxes and including any applicable discounts) using your digital or physical Tims® Rewards card until March 18, 2020. Further terms and conditions apply. ©Tim Hortons, 2020

Edit2: I think double roll up the rim is going to go on for two weeks.

"Participants will receive a digital roll for each beverage purchase. For the first two weeks of the contest, when Tim Hortons offers physical roll-up cups, participants will get two rolls: one on the cup and one digitally."

I don't know if this has been discussed over at the Tim rewards thread, but has anyone claim a reward and got points on that reward ? (before the change, we got a point when redeeming a reward)

I didn’t even get an email about the changes. I had a free reward before the change, now it’s gone! Tim’s sucks!

Yes. Yes, they do.

Your visits get converted to points. Check your card, you might still have those points saved.

The double rewards is great for my small purchases. I am basically getting 25% off during the promo.

Why not just order seperately under the same account?

You only can earn points on 1 purchase every 30 minutes I believe it is.

You’re right I see it now, the new app isn’t that intuitive to use.

What date?
My march 1st transaction was 10 points but everything after that was 20 points.
If after march 1st, did you choose a redeem level? That might be why maybe

You only get double points if you select your default redeem option.

im baffled, do we get 10 points for purchases > 0.5$?
do they not want us to buy 20$ worth of food?
or wants us to buy them every 30 minutes?
