I can't imagine having an iced coffee! I have had the ice cappuccino's before and they're good, but I have diabetes now, so they're definitely out.
I like my coffee hot. If I want a cold drink, I'll drink water or pop (rarely)._______________

Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent." - US President, Calvin Coolidge

I'm addicted to the McDonalds Iced Coffee with vanilla flavor! I just want to freeze dry and and chalk up a line and snort it. I love it! I'm working on making a substitute at home with Nestle French Vanilla Coffee mate.

I've been messing with this all day, and of come up with a pretty good approximation of the Mc'Ds Vanilla Iced Coffee.
First thing is use the boldest roast coffee you can find
I've been using some Sumatra Extra Bold beans I bought at Star Bucks awhile back
Next grind them longer... MUCH longer than you would for normal coffee, I've been grinding till they were as fine as clay, once ground they are warm, and pretty much come out in a clump.
I've been using my 4 cup coffee maker.
I make the coffee, and then pour it from the pot into a decanter. I then LOAD it with the Nestle French Vanilla Coffee-mate, I mean LOAD it, until it is pretty close to the same color as the Mc'ds iced coffee, so a pretty light brown in colour.
I let it sit in the decanter until it is warm, and then place in fridge. When read to drink I pour it over a glass full of ice
Then I enjoy._______________

Tried a cup when it was free, since they made it in advance all the sugar was at the bottom and was not cold enough since the ice melted... after mixing it a little the ice diluted it too much so It did not have much a taste...
As for how Mc donalds makes there coffee is they put two bags of coffee instead of the one normal coffee uses and brew it so it ends up super concentrated. After wards it is diluted a little with ice forgot the actual ratio though... they it's four shots of syrup for large while 2 for small and one cream for small and two for large and mix well.
rolo is 3 shots for small and 6 for large dunno why it's different.
Hope this is helpful for people who want to make it at home.

The small is really small. Since this is RFD, i think i would be sticking to Mcdonald's ice coffee because it is more worth it in terms of size. Taste wise, they are pretty similar.
