I don't see how a different service disc will result in "hotter" water for your Tassimo. There's no temperature settings, it's all just "hot". I can see it being useful to dispense varying amounts of the "hot water" into a cup though.

As for your second link, it doesn't appear to be relevant to Tassimo specifically? It's not a t-disc

Part of the barcode tells the brewer what temperature the water should heat too, and that's where you can get the difference in the water temperature.

The second link is for a brew basket not made by Tassimo. Even if you just use the water service disc that comes with your Tassimo, with the brew basket you can place in your cup and use regular ground coffee. There's some coffee brands people like that are not available in t-discs.

YMMV: My local Metro has many Tassimo t-discs on sale for $6.99; I picked up a Nabob cappuccino pack at a $3.98 or so discount.

Looking at the home outfitters flyer on RFD, it says "ALL SINGLE SERVE K-CUP PODS, T DISCS, VERISMO CAPSULES, BOXED TEA, COFFEE SYRUPS, SAUCES & BEANS starting at $1.03"

http://www.redflagdeals.com/flyers/home ... 015-48218/

Enjoy your T55! I quite like mine

Thanks! I've already made a couple drinks with it and I feel like a little kid playing with a brand new Game Boy on Christmas Day every time.

For those of that have London Drugs they have some really good buys right now on t-discs. I loaded up on quite a few. But you better be quick, and keep checking as I found they get more stock in sometimes when their sold out. Make sure you check all locations (we have 2 stores here) as one might get stock the others don't. These ones I picked up.

The Cadburys hot chocolate at 4.99

http://www.londondrugs.com/Tassimo-Cadb ... &q=tassimo

The Second cup Moccaccino at only 2.99 cheapest I've ever seen it. I was lucky to get 6 of them.

The Gevalia Mocha at 5.99 price

http://www.londondrugs.com/Tassimo-Geva ... &q=tassimo

And the Gevalia Peppermint Mocha at only 4.99 price. I managed to get 10 of these.

A few other ones on sale at 6.99 price. I'm not sure if you can get pricematch on these but doesn't hurt to try.

^^^ Thanks.

I went to my local LD and I could only find one Second Cup Moccaccino pack ($2.99), although their inventory said they had 4. But it's just as well that I only found one as it had a mid-Aug expiry date. I was told by a customer service rep that they're no longer carrying that one, which is too bad as it's awesome.

I just ordered $70+ worth of Tassimo t-discs from Staples.ca to take advantage of the $20 off purchase of $70+ VISA checkout promotion that is ending tonight. T-disc prices are actually pretty good for some of the brand/flavours.

Edit: Also, don't forget to use Ebates.ca to get another 6% off!!
