Just an update........got the Tassimo Professional T-discs for the Suchards chocolate.

Cutting out the barcode from a regular chocolate disc, and taping it over the barcode of the professional disc works great, and brewed it. Just make sure for the chocolate and liquid discs, you use a barcode from a chocolate or liquid one. It pumps extra air near the end to get all the liquid out of the T-discs. Trying the barcode from a coffee disc, still left a bit of liquid left in the chocolate disc.

So with the barcode taping modification, you can use the Tassimo professional T-discs in the home brewers.

Ok I found a page of Tassimo barcodes. These will work with models T-12 ....T-20....T-45/46....and T-65 model. Not sure about other models.

You can use these barcodes overtop of the T-disc barcode (they also work for the professional t-discs so you can use them in home brewers)

Just save the page and print it off. The barcodes are bit bigger, so I used the 13cm x 18cm prints size when printing to size them down and they worked just fine. Cutting them just use a ruler, pizza cutter and bread board, and goes really quick. Tape it over the barcode with worded printing to the bottom of the barcode. Barcodes a little bit out of focus, but they work, so isn't a problem.

I've tried the regular coffee and french roast barcodes. Used on an espresso t-disc to make a regular size cup of coffee and worked great. Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes

Sobeys have some Tassimo on sale starting today Friday 21 for only 4.99 as in the flyer.

Maxwell house, Tetley tea, Twinings tea. And if you buy 2 packages you get a free package of Sensations cookies. (2.99 value) The flyer says 8-16 count, and the Chai Tea is the 8 count, so you may have to show them that in the flyer as I did.

I got 2 packages Twinings Chai Tea, got the cookies. Used my 2.00 Tassimo coupon I had, and was only 7.99 total. Expire date on mine say July 2017

Now that we have a 2nd No Frills store, they have really put good deals on Tassimo pods. Couple weeks ago they were on sale for 4.97 including the Chai Latte. And then I price matched at staples for the Carte Noire signature blend which never usually goes on sale. This week No Frills has them on for 5.97

For those wanting to get some of the Tassimo discs Europe has that we can't get in Canada, I found a website called Caletoni which is in the Uk. They ship to Canada. The prices are in USD......But they have free standard shipping to Canada. Smiling Face With Open Mouth They replied to me they ship with Royal Mail , so it will be delivered by Canada Post.

I ordered the new Tassimo Baileys Latte. Not exactly cheap, worked out to 1.70 cdn per drink but would cost you more then that at a drive through. My order on 2 boxes came out bit cheaper then listed, Maybe a discount on your first order. I will use these ones as a special treat.

They have other ones as well, and quite a few have 16 discs in a package.

Did Costco stop selling T-Discs? I used to pick the 80-pack of Colombian and Breakfast Blend but haven't seen it in-store during my last couple of visits...

I got the tassimo for the milk drinks but now can't seem to find many in stores (e.g. the gevalia ones... the old style twinning chai, etc.). selection has really gone down over past 6 months or so. Is there somewhere to get more flavours? The UK site above is a bit steep in pricing. Thinking if I should switch to Keurig at this point...

When I talked with Tassimo Canada a few weeks ago, I asked them about new varieties. They said there were looking into and trying to get some different ones for Canada. I'm still using some Twinnings Chai Latte I have that have the milk discs. I got mine from London Drugs store here.

Costco online has the Tassimo Nabob variety pack. Says the price includes shipping.

Beanwise has a couple Tassimo t-discs on sale. They have opened the packages and selling Second Cup chocolate syrup for 1.00 for box of 4 t-discs. That is only 25 cents each. Expire date on these April 29th 2018 but I've kept chocolate syrup ones long past the date with no problems.

http://www.beanwise.ca/Tassimo-SecondCu ... hocsyr.htm

And Second Cup espresso box of 8 discs for 3.00 (37 cents each) I just use the add more water button to fill to make a full cup which is like a americano "Edit" looks like the price of these has gone up now"

http://www.beanwise.ca/Tassimo-Second-C ... spres8.htm

And also some some Second Cup caramello coffee dated on sale for 5.75

http://www.beanwise.ca/Second-Cup-Caram ... aramel.htm

I ordered a few of the sale things to share with someone else so had enough for the free shipping.

I'm seriously thinking of giving up on Tassimo with these new milk discs. I thought they would make it more concentrated since they're half the size of the old ones.
But it's really weak now, like they simply cut the same milk in half and now there's a chemical aftertaste. The milk based drinks were the only reason I got a Tassimo.

I have started using fresh milk microwaved, stir well. Not as much foam but better quality.
