Toll Free number with no monthly fee

I've been looking for a toll free number with no monthly fee,
because I don't know if I will have enough volume calls to justify the monthly fee.

I only found 1 company with no monthly fee.

Question 1: Does anybody know a company that doesn't charge monthly fee?

Question 2: If my business takes off, how easy is it to transfer my number to another provider?

You can't afford a buck or two a month?
I'm honestly surprised you found anyone without a monthly fee.

no monthly fee doesn't mean it is free.
I can afford a buck or two a month, thus looking for a toll free number.

Not sure why you need two threads for this. I suggested VOIP.MS in the other thread. It costs a $1.25 a month. I use them now and never had any problems.

800.com plans charge 5.9 c per minute. Voip.ms charges 1.9 c per minute.

A lot of people on here love VOIP.ms, myself included.

I never said it was free.
I said without a monthly fee.
I knew the per minute charge was going to be higher but I wasn't expecting only $0.06.

You're talking nickels and dimes.
My suggestion is pay Voip.ms $1.25/month and get the lower /minute rate.

There's no contract anyway, so if it isn't taking off in 6 mos, drop it.

If you can't afford a couple of dollars a month for the toll free number, I don't think you should be operating a business.
The answers provided already should be the end of the thread.
