Tomato on Asus 520 gu, no internet access through wireless

I have put tomato version 1.28 on my asus 520gu router. I can connect to the internet through ethernet cable. I can also connect to the router through wi-fi but it says there is no internet access.
Can anyone tell me what settings I might need to change.
Anything in Advanced Wireless I need to change, like transmit power?

I am using windows 7, I have WPA Personal and using AES for the password. And I have a cable modem.
Thanks

Is the router picking up the right IP from the modem? Seems like you might need to clone the MAC of the modem for it to work.

Can you get internet access if you remove security (temporarily)?

make sure wifi is set to bridge with wan.
and that your router is set to "gateway" mode.

For the bridge with wan, is this changing wireless mode from access point to wireless ethernet bridge?
and where do I find if my router is set to gateway mode?
Thanks
