I don't think so - probably best you could do (and he'll hate you for this) is to reduce the bandwidth so that it's impossible to download more than 1GB per day.
Too lazy to read the whole thread again, but read here:

Tomato Question - Kid's using up bandwidth
My son appears to be doing some major downloading. Is there a way in Tomato to have it cut off his access once he's gone over, say, 1gb a day? Yesterday he downloaded 10gb, and we only get 60gb a month before Cogeco hits us with $1.40/gb over.

I'd advise switching to Teksavvy if you're able to. 200GB bandwith cap for$30, and unlimited for $40 a month. You'll just be sacrificing speed though.... I can't give up my rogers 10mbit line...

Tell him to pay the extra $1.40/GB he makes it go over.

If Teksavvy is an option I would HIGHLY recommend it. Sure its not as fast as Cogeco's 10mbit speed but you can do everything the same & might even have lower pings. Just might take a few more mins to download a big file which is worth it to pay less $$ and get more service._______________

Wow... your son is downloading quite a bit. But yeah, Teksavvy would definitely be a good alternative option.

Checked his computer this morning. Didn't find any torrent programs. Not sure about Teksavvy, aren't they saying they might have to charge a lot more because of a CRTC decision. I'll wait to see what happens there. Not too worried about losing speed, my last Speedtest had me under 6 mbit. Its very unreliable.
Did. He looked like someone caught redhanded. My plan until I can come up with something better is to disconnect him from the net on his desktop for the month, keeping his netbook going.Last edited by hagbard; Nov 3rd, 2009 at 08:16 AM.

As a teenager that downloads a lot, I can understand how hard it is to resist the urges with all the resources available today on the Internet. However I've learned to restrain myself because I know of the charges that my parents have to pay when it goes over. Does your son know about the fee that you have to pay? And I know from experience the best way to solve this is to make him experience the thrill of not having Internet access. It'll make him go nuts and I'm sure he'll learn from it. Good luck
