TomTom 720 $299 PM at BestBuy
My friend saw an ad from Canada Computers for the TomTom 720 in Friday's Toronto Sun. It quotes an everyday low price of $309. After looking online, we noticed it's actually $409. He still took the misprinted ad into Future Shop for a PM and was turned down, but Best Buy PM'd it and he got it for $299, which is $100 off of Best Buy's current sale price. .

He just got lucky, Canada Computers no refund policy is the reason why Futureshop or BestBuy do not price match w/ CC.

I got this product early December for about $304.xx from Staples pming FS. It would have been below $300 if Staples didn't tack on $9 shipping. Great unit, but really poor battery life. BT is a hit or miss depending on the phone you have. Signal acquisition is like 2-5 seconds, super fast. For $300, it's an awesome deal but YMMV.

Just a thought...
I have 3 GPSs of different brands...I like the TomTomOne the least...not exactly same unit as the 720 but maps and routing engine are similar.
TTOne's hardware is top notch, tons of features, directions loud and clear and lightning quick acquisition time and works even indoors LOL!
It loses out big time in POIs, user interface and tons of bad routes and errors compared to Garmin and even my old Mio palmtop...which in the end, matters the most.
