Is it even possible for a new camera to have a valid 2 year warranty when the seller obtained it through the means claimed and is not an authorized canon dealer?

Finally got around to file a "dispute" on paypal
Anybody knows how long will that take?
I sent a few emails to "Diverta-shop" requesting them to be a good sport and at least send me a rock or a photo of a 60D, but no replies. I hope that counts as my "attempt to contact the seller"

Nah, if it's through ebay, then yes the fund won't be available instantly. But if they sent you an invoice through paypal and you paid for it, it's instant.
Expect a month for the dispute, or even better, call your credit card company to claim the fund. It's faster to do it through your bank instead of paypal, given that you paid through paypal using your credit card.Last edited by X820; Aug 9th, 2012 at 05:55 PM.
