Declining Tulo is still better than Ryan Goins and Darwin Barney. Especially for playoff batting.
Goins might be a better fielder or about even.

Chris Coghlan began his rehab assignment but he is probably barely ahead of Refsnyder and behind Goins and Barney
in terms of batting and fielding ability.

I hear you man, trust me ...I'm a big Tulo fan but he has declined both defensively and offensively having him out of the lineup wont hurt that much.
While I don't disagree, I just want to reiterate my sentiments of how Goins should have been the everyday 2B after Travis went down, instead of the whole Goins/Barney near 50/50 platoon. However, now that Tulo is down, Goins is essentially playing everyday, and much like the first time around earlier this season when Tulo went down, he has turned his bat up. So I do feel like we're benefiting having Goins as the everyday SS (trust me, I am also a huge Tulowitzki fan).

Goins' last 14 days (10 games/8 starts): .303/.343/.424 - .767 OPS

And his splits with RISP was good all season long anyways.

Gibbons is throwing the game by sending in all the minor league caliber pitchers.
The Jays were only down by one.

Blame Atkins for trading away Liriano and Smith and don't forget Bigiani is in the minors

That Liriano trade was awesome and we got a solid prospect back. :)

Gibbons has made some odd decisions here with his pitching changes. Bring in a rookie in a 1 run game and then have Barnes warming up with the game out of hand.
Bring in Bolsinger and the guy they sent down earlier today when it was a one run game in Houston.
Nice guy and everything, still remember him blowing home field advantage starting Buehrle in 2015 and then running out to get a bleeding Bauer last year against Cleveland when he was in all sorts of trouble.
Can he ever do anything like what Yost did to Alex Gorden or Girardi did to Sanchez? (Pillar)

Liriano I get, but not the Smith trade considering they didn't get much for him, they could have used them in these bullpen meltdowns and have possibly 2 more wins.

I am a fan of Pilar but it is getting harder and harder to watch his terrible approach at the plate. He has potential...we saw this for a few weeks earlier in the season when he gained some plate discipline...but it didn't last. How long can the Jays allow him to swing at balls a foot off the player, or balls off the plate when in a hitter's counts? IT'S EMBARRASSING.

Judge OVERRULED. Jays take 2 of 3 from the Yankees.

Both All-Stars, Smoak and Judge, had terrible series offensively.

Finally Jays to start a rookie rather than the pitchers that have crapped previously in the majors..

Wouldn't it have made sense to keep Biagini in the rotation rather than bouncing him back and forth and put Sanchez in the bullpen a month ago. Seems Sanchez's blister issues occur when he pitches multiple innings.

Barney better defensively then Rufsnyder and Gibbons puts him in with a groundball pitcher.

I think with should petition to have Kevin Pilar's middle name changed to 0-2. Kevin 0-2 Pilar! I swear I see 0-2 in most of his at bats.

To me, he's a 4th outfielder. He's walked only 27 times in 462 AB's

I guess the problem is that there is no real alternative. I mean if he had some competition maybe the threat of benching him for his plate discipline might actually mean something.
