Marcus Stroman was first person to take a Lyft outside the U.S. today. He went to Toronto's SickKids with Antonio Albino to deliver holiday gifts for patients following the launch event for the Lyft service.

Great job Marcus.
This is why, we can deal with the other stuff (i.e. tweet regarding wanting to be notified about Goins). Take the bad with the good. The good far outweighs the bad with this guy...on and off the field. Solid character!

Yea seems to be a known injury (sprained UCL which may require tj surgery) - kinda sucks for the Angels though

I wont say I told you so yet but I will start with the "I" part first. Time will tell. If I spent all that money I wouldn't want this coming out so soon after I signed the guy.

Tanaka and Maeda had minor UCL sprains that never required surgery and allowed them to continue baseball activities, albeit with an elbow care program. Angels were fully aware of the conditions of his elbows (via thorough MRI) prior to signing, and it's been said, so far, that he can continue baseball activities.

It's "news", but it really isn't to all the baseball teams that wanted to sign him, as they would have seen the medical report.

Time will tell but its interesting that it didn't become public knowledge until after the signing.

LA is also sending $4.5M to the braves. It's a big move by LA, as they will temporarily drop below the luxury tax to reset it back to 20% when they go over again, as opposed to 30% on year two and 50% on year three.

They are expected to release or trade Matt Kemp.

The reset is good with Bryce Harper and Manny Machado becoming free agents after this upcoming season.

Always enjoyed AA's wheeling and dealing. Some worked, some didn't but it always made for an interesting off season.
