How is Stroman going to be able to handle the negative things the Jays are say about him. He wont be able to handle it.

why not? hasn't that been much of his m.o.? over coming all the negativity thrown his way by pitching with a chip on his shoulder in order to prove the naysayers wrong?

I don't think he will take what they have to say from a business point of view he will take it as a personal insult. Time will tell.

whether he does or doesn't, the most important thing is it doesn't affect him negatively on the field. up until this point he's used prior negativity as motivation to prove people wrong.

If he feels disrespected in the process it will affect him on the field. I really like Marcus but he needs to grow up and he will as he matures.

is stro very emotional? sure. there's no evidence though that the arbitration process will affect him more than anyone else...in terms of on field performance. if anything it could do the opposite as he uses any negativity thrown his way as fire to motivate him.
