I'm glad. He sucked in the playoffs.
And I think it's an overpay. 6-years at a guranteed $126M, with potential to get to $150M. Face With Tears Of Joy

Who is going to opening day?

The Toronto Blue Jays will retire former pitcher Roy (Doc) Halladay’s No. 32 on opening day.

Former Jays pitcher Esteban Loaiza busted for dealing cocaine.

What a bonehead.

Tough year for Bluejay fans last year+. EE, Jose gone, Halladay's death and now Jerry retiring. All icons.

So it will be more of Mike Wilner and Mr. Barker?
Barker is good, can't stand Wilner - used to be a big fan but that was a long time ago before he became mr know it all

His voice was the sound of summer. Now I hoping it won't be the grating sound of Mike Milner (seinfeld) we have to hear every night.

Hard to believe Spring Training is here. Not as exited as last year and not sure why. I think the lack of the Jays doing anything meaningful a big splash. I love baseball so nothing has changed except i have adopted the Atlanta Braves as my second team Jays will always be #1. Go Jays Go

Our outfield should be better than last season, provided Gritchuk and Granderson perform better than Carrera and Pearce. At least Gibby now has options. I also like Diaz and Solarte. I'm not a fan of Atkins but these were good pick-ups

You are right they did do something but i expected more. I wonder if they are scared to do anything big and face the wrath of the Blue Jay Faithful. Example I find it interesting that Donaldson keeps saying nobody has approached his team about a contract extension. Atkins and Shapiro have both said publicly they want him back so why not tell his management group officially that they are working on an extension and when we get the internal numbers worked out we will approach you.
