Never thought Boston would take the ALCS this convincingly. Figured would have been a close series.

Now hoping the Brewers make it to the WS.

So true. And its not like Rogers cant compete with the $$$ they just choose not too. They will see next year what that decision does to attendance. I will be honest since we sucked last year the last month of the season I sat in place`s I wouldn't pay the huge price for. I sat in section 130 row 1 seat 1 and 2 right beside the ball boy (very nice guy talked to him a lot) for $6.00 us on stubhub. He even gave me a ball. I sat in 200 level right behind home plate in the TD Zone for $20.00 us each Go Jays Go

Rogers plays this juggling act, marketing players to keep fan interest, for a while it was JD then Martin and the Canadian home boy angle, next season it will be Vlad Jr.

Winning is secondary.

That's ok with me. I will keep going to see the games cheap and just maybe pick a second team to follow. Go Jays Go

But the Astros, last year, were in the middle of the pack in team payroll.

And the Cubs the year before, were also in the middle of the pack.

So this is a first that we have two top payroll teams in a while. You can't be sick.

new managerial candidate Joe Espada, intriguing candidate that comes from a winning organization

short list in my preferred order

Joe Espada
Rocco Baldelli (could put him 1st)
Brandon Hyde

As soon as I heard his name liked the choice. Winning organization, fluent in Spanish and a lot younger than gibby. My choice. Go Jays Go
