Too bad the stacked tailpipes are fake.

To the Toronto IS-F driver
All I gotta say is... Nice! Electric blue and stacked tailpipes.. BE-series Ontario plate so they must've just imported it from the US.
Soon I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of them as they're sold in Canada later this year, but still nice and rare now..._______________
Oh, it's lonesome away from your kindred and all,
By the campfire at night where the wild dingos call,
But there's nothing so lonesome, so dull or so drear,
Than to stand in the bar of a pub with no beer.

Not really a fan of the stacked pailpipes, fake or not. But, I wanna see it on the roads. Too bad it lost the huge side vents behind the front wheels for production.

Thanks for noticing my ride. I just got it delivered today and took it for a spin; was really hard to decide between the M3 and IS-F but I think I made the right choice in the end.
I am j/k incase some people don't catch on. Really nice car though._______________Resident vehicle detailing enthusiast - PM for detailing related questions

I think it’s time everyone make some changes to your Christmas wishlists because we have a little surprise for you. Lexus announced the Nieman Marcus IS F Limited Edition and we like it already, even though we only have this photo.
Considered the fastest production car ever produced by Lexus, the special edition IS F is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine that takes the car from 0 to 62 mph (100km/h) in just 4.9 seconds. Transmission is made through a Sport Direct Shift eight-speed gearbox and the car also features Lexus’ Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system, Bluetooth interface, and premium sound and DVD systems included.
The car also got some exclusive interior modifications, like black material with white accent stitching, white leather accents, and an F logo on the headrests. So, what to say, great choice for Christmas! Oh, and one more thing, the Neiman Marcus IS F will be priced at $68,000 and hurry up, because the edition is limited to only 50 units.

Nothing like paying more for a car that is all around slower then the BMW M3, boring to drive and much uglier
At least you won't have to pay over MSRP for one, like an M3 or GT-R. US invoice is $49.2k. I hope the guy was able to get it for just over invoice.

Ok... So the tailpipe tips are chromed plastic intergrated into the bumper and not connected to exhaust system. Would it be considered a tailpipe tip or finisher if it's not connected to the exhaust system at all?
Maybe it's a stacked bumper exhaust port?
I don't undrstad what Toyota was thinking when they did that. Mazadaspeed 6 took more then enough flack for that decision and it costs half the price of the IS-F.

IS-F & R8 has good lookin' fake exhaust tip...
once you look @ a Mazdaspeed 6's Exhaust....you'll find that
the IS-F & R8 has better lookin' tips....
Exhaust looks so nice in an angle....

Dinky little exhaust in massive tips.....

Back on the topic.....
IS-F such nice/sweet lookin' ride...if only i can afford one...Last edited by lumlum1013; Mar 7th, 2008 at 08:20 AM.
