I can tell you which one NOT to use... don't use meadowland movers. They hire people off the street and your furniture will get damaged. They brought a really small rental truck and couldn't fit everything in for our move. They also took a 2 hr lunch break on my bill and came back drunk.

I can tell you who not to use as well - EMPIRE movers.
They quoted me 69 per hr (minimum 3 hrs + 1 hr travel time)
When they had to unload the stuff, the driver says he was informed by operator to charged 1 hr travel + 1 hr transportation + 7% gas + taxes. He then said the travel will be increased to 1.5 hrs instead of 1 because my two houses were farther than they thought ( both within mississauga)
When I called them to talk to them about these charges, it went to the voicemail straight away - and they never returned my call. While all this time, they were calling the driver(even after i left a vm) and telling him the total amount and stuff.
First they said they can take a credit card but then asked for CASH because their terminals are not working BS!
Avoid them at all cost.
I did get an in-house quote from TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. They seemed professional and they give full insurance on their stuff (included in their charges). But they are expensive.
The unfortunate thing is I ended up paying the same amount (As quoted by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK) to the Empire guys but for bad service and inconvenience.

I am also looking for movers. A few years ago I used Your Friend with a Cube Van, and they were very good, but they are booked for the time I need them. A guy at work recommended Tom Trucker. My co-worker was very impressed with them. They were recommended by a neighbor. Here is a link to reviews I found online for this company. http://www.homestars.com/companies/227406-tom-trucker
I have them booked for the end of the month, but have not used them yet. The quoted rate is $110 per hour for 3 movers. Minimum 2 hours. There are no additional fees, i.e. mileage.
Your Friend with a Cube Van, had a similar setup, cheaper, but only 2 movers. Mind you it was four years ago, so not sure how comparable it really is.
Don't know when you are planning on moving, but I can report back after the move.

I've used http://www.jiajiainternationalmovinginc.com/ and was very happy with them. They're cheap and efficient and nothing was broken. I recommended them to a few co-workers who were all thoroughly impressed as well. One co-worker wasn't even prepared (she was still packing when they showed up) to move and the workers called for extra help and helped her pack without any extra charges.
Would definitlely recommend them to anyone. They're engrish
isn't great but good enough to move stuff.

Don't use Xpress mover, they charged me double the $$$ from what they quotes $1050 for the move and i still need to do 7 more trips with my Minivan.
I don't mean to sound like a racist, but from all my experienced with the moving company that owned by middle east were all bad, i'm prety sure there are good one, but finding them is the tricky part.

Movers
I used Jia Jia movers on the recommendation from some people on this site.
BAD MOVE
Items were smashed, my washer frame was bent, and the guys asked for a bigger tip than what we gave them.
We have tried to contact Jia on numerous occasions to speak to a supervisor, but no one has contacted us.

Europa Cartage & Movers
If you do a search, look up Europa Cartage and movers. All my family, friends and I have used them for years. The owner, Joe is actually one of the movers and he drives the truck. Very clean and professional. Never had a problem with them and they set up all my furniture exactly where I wanted it. I was so impressed with my last move that I bought and paid for lunch and I gave Joe and his helper both a $50 tip each!!!!!

Beware of movers by name " Dynamic" or "Dynamite" or "Comfortable" or "Desi".
They go by numerous names. Their horifying stories were telecasted on TV and The Toronto Star.
They will tell you $700 and in the end will charge you $3,000 plus.
Take a mover that has been used by some one known to you before.
