I realize that it's off-season for travel to these destinations, but for those interested, Air France has promotional pricing from Toronto/Ottawa/Montreal to Paris/Rome/Barcelona for travel between December 24, 2009 and March 30, 2010. Although it's advertised as from $599 taxes included, after a bit of searching on airfrance.ca I found that most of the prices were in fact around that price or lower. In addition, there is no charge for stopping over in Paris. Flights have to be booked by this Thursday, October 29. Full details:

this is the hottest deal of the century!!!! Thank you sooo much for posting! I just booked a trip from Toronto to Barcelona (stoping in Paris for a day) for one week - 2 people for $1150 all inc!!!!!!!!! This deal is awsome!

If you search for flexible dates, you will see huge price differences in dates, from $300 one day to over $2000 the next... so good deals to be found!

In addition, I booked for Dec 25-Dec 31 which is the holiday season. I spent the last 3 days looking for flights anywhere and they are sooo expensive during this time of year. I am absolutely amazed at this deal!! Thanks again!

I just checked travelocity and my exact same flight came out to $1035 per person... meanwhile I got a similar price for two people!
