I just called inquiries at Blue Jays office, and the guy says they are happening this year, and will be available sometime next week (he's not 100% sure, but guesses around 23-24). You can buy up to 6. Forgot to ask price. >.<
He also added that these passes MIGHT be assigned seats this time around, (so if you bought 3, they'd be 3 in a row) which saves time lining up super duper early. But I assume you still have to get there 45 minutes before the game or you'd lose that assigned seat to any normal fan? (or they'd actually be legit season tickets lol)

Toronto Star Blue Jays Season Pass
Does anyone know when these go on sale? Google search didn't seem to help.
I missed them last year so I want to be ready to purchase them once they go on sale this year.

95$ + 15$ Service Charge = 110$ total. This included every game of the season except the home opener.

So pretty much $220 for two season tickets seats. That's legit I'm definitely getting that. Hopefully we actually get tickets in advanced and don't need to go to box office to pick them up.

call them at 416-341-1000, press 2, and someone will speak to you.
they can take your name and number down, and will call you the first day passes become available (they said tomorrow, and at the latest friday).
they said passes MAY be 99$ this year. (they seem to keep the price card close to their chests)

on sale now!
They're on sale now, the rub is that they have assigned seats this year, so if you're planning on going with friends, get your order in together. $99, no service fee if you call in. They'll send out an email shortly and then its going to go crazy, so get them quickly!

the email.
Dear Blue Jays Fan,
We are happy to announce that our new Blue Jays Fan Pass (formerly the Toronto Star Season Pass) is now available!
We appreciate your support of the team and want to give you the first opportunity to purchase your Blue Jays Fan Pass before the general public.
NEW Rules of the Game
· Each pass will provide access to an assigned seat in specific sections of our 500 Level seating
· We are excited that these passes will be our first initiative in paperless ticketing. Passes must be swiped by a ticket taker at the Gate for redemption where a locater slip with your seat locations will print for you. Each pass can only be swiped/redeemed once per game. Does not include Opening Day, April 9, 2012
· Your valid pass can be swiped as soon as the Gates open thru the end of the game. * Passes cannot be swiped prior to Gates opening.
· 500 Level tickets for Opening Day, April 9, 2012 may be purchased at full price, plus service charges at the time of purchasing your pass, subject to availability
· Your pass must be present for redemption and will include your account name, account number and seat location affiliated with each pass
· The Blue Jays Fan Pass cannot be combined with other ticket offers, discounts or special coupons
· The Blue Jays Fan Pass expires on October 3, 2012
· There are a limited number of Blue Jays Fan Passes available and once the allotment of passes is sold out, the passes will no longer be available.
· A maximum of six (6) passes are allowed per account. The Toronto Blue Jays reserve the right to cancel any orders placed above and beyond this maximum. Other restrictions apply.
Call the ticketing number (341-1234) and press 32 to order them. Yay
the assigned seats are in sections 514-516 and 532-534
