Toronto Stolen Car alert

After the recent activities of a car going missing , i figured the best and most instant way is to have a group dedicated to the GTA with modified bikes trucks and cars being listed if they do happen to be stolen.

There are no ads , spam , links or any conversation on the page . It lies dormant until needed when you will get a facebook message .
Nothing else , just plain and simple .
Hopefully its never your car but if it is you'll want to share the group to get as much coverage as possible.

Maybe it's just me but I find it pointless. Your 'modified' vehicle isnt going to end up being stolen and listed on kijiji it would be stripped down for parts if anything.

Good intentions yes but I just don't see it working

Sadly it's not bubbies turbo civic gets listed for sale.

Your friend civic got stolen cause someone gave a theif a shopping list and he wants that turbo engine. The rest is sold off off-line or maybe some random kijiji ad a few months down the road. The shell usually gets cut up and sent to a scrap metal dealer. Rarely they're dumped on some side street.

If it's some newer higher end vehicle kiss it good-bye. By the time you notice it gone it's already in a container going overseas.

If you find it pointless to have a few thousand eyes looking for your car after its stolen , then your entitled to never get it back or try to .
If you don't have facebook then the person is flawed to be scared of it . You really don't understand that this is based on its ability to use facebook and get out the info quick. The same reasoning says it is flawed because you don't have any internet .
Its not about hoping it will get seen for sale as that is almost 100% never going to happen , this is an instant alert to tell people , hey look out for this specific car as its gone.

Dina , you must have a love affair with insurance companies and think they love when you have a claim at fault or not .
I don't know anyone who lives in Toronto or the surrounding area who thinks insurance companies are not scamming them to high heaven in premiums.
This page is for one thing modified or otherwise different vehicles .
If you have a car you have put thousands of hours with rare irreplaceable parts insurance paying you back is meaningless as you don't care about the money . you want your car back.
Why you keep harping over and over again about illegal mods and insurance payouts is incomprehensible to me since you obviously own a run of the mill car you don't give a rats ***** about.

My car's parts are covered with special stickers. It is clearly advertised on the front side windows. Chop shop thieves will never touch my car.

The dealer robbed me instead.

(I was never asked/informed, just billed very craftily).
