Toyota: grad discount increased to $1000?

I was listening to the radio yesterday (Saturday) evening and I heard a Toyota commercial about an increase in the rebate amount for the graduate discount. The commercial said the amount is now $1000 and can be used towards 2008/2009 Corolla, Matrix, etc. As well, it can be used in conjuction with other promotions/discounts/incentives.

I tried to find more info online at Toyota's website but it still lists the old grad rebate of $500 for the smaller cars ($1000 for Tacoma pickup truck).

Has anyone heard of any news about this? I'm trying to confirm if this is correct and if it's a limited-time promotion.

wait a bit and see if they update their website or call toyota directly. they have a 1 800 number

I prefer if they would extend the length of graduation years allowed.
