Apparently it's going to be a TT i6 with 335 HP. Sounds like it's sourced from BMW.

Now to the all-important engine selection that was co-developed with BMW. The entry-level model will be powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo generating 192 hp while a high-powered 245 hp 2.0-liter turbo will offer beefier performance. Leading the new line-up as its flagship model is a BMW-developed 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder turbo pumping out a healthy 360 hp, with all three engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

I was always partial to the mid-80’s Supra.

So basically a bigger/faster frs? There's no way this is worthy of the supra name, a 15hp bump after 25 years?

85K for a 911 fighter would be a good bang for the buck. Exterior looks good, IMO. Give it a nice interior and it will be hard to lose.
People that buy 911's won't be cross shopping this, so not quite sure who its fighting with lol

HP isn't everything, this car will be lighter than the old porker.

That thing should be a Celica.

Being honest all this noise games for a 3-4 series derived car. Icing on the cake are the 4 cyl.

Give us a Supra that at least can rival Q60RS since Toyota doesnt seem to go against GTR/NSX of this world. Looks like the RC-F is Toyota sportiest car.

sad to see this iconic Supra badge is going to have just a few more ponies than a Camry. Nissan (GTR engineers) must be having a good laugh at it right now.

People who wants and can't afford a 911 would definitely consider it. It doesn't matter though, this supra is nothing like a 911.

Can't afford 911= F-Type
Hell the 370Z is a better buy then this Supra
Mustang-Camaro stomp this car in terms of performance

I dunno about this Supra.....seems like the engines offering are not ideal 4 cyl....and the 240I-340I engines..... We're far from a sports car even if they put the M2 engine in it.....It's a massaged N55 which is getting canned this summer anyways

The F-type is a great car so it would be interesting to see how this new supra will stack up against it.

Toyota really is a sad company when it comes to developing performance cars. By that I mean they are incapable of doing one solely by themselves. Basically all performance cars were developed by Yamaha. So I'm surprised they ditched them and did a joint venture with bmw.

BMW inline 6 is a good motor but using it in the supra is really making seem like a parts car. Ideally they should have put in a new motor like they did with the frs/brz.

3300 pounds is pretty darn light, 3.8s 0-60 is fantastic if price stays down a bit.

The Supra was never a lightweight car. That was the Celica....People seem to forget that the first Supra was a Celica. Then they split the models. This car is a disgrace to the Supra's name. Made with Bmw on top of that. They should call it FT-1 or whatever name the prototype had since 200x. Make a crazy expensive powerful Z06-GTR war machine, Halo car then call it Supra.
Last Supra was 80k+ and Nissan has no problem movin 125k+ GTR's....Cmon Toyota

Light cars dont sell...Alfa 4c?Failed ...Lotus?Failed ....GT86...Failure. Only the Miata pulls it off Horsepower sells.
