Red one is also on sale.

This is a no brainer at this price if you or your kids love nerf.

Arggh, getting too old to play with these toy guns. Anyway, here's a good unboxing and review vid.

Amazon has this on sale for the same price.

If anyone buys this I'd recommend buying the rechargeable battery. It'll make the gun alot lighter and actually provides more juice (ie. Faster bullets). Plus, cheaper in the long run vs constantly loading the gun with fresh D batteries.

This looks like a big toy for a big kid. Just what I want for Christmas. Thanks OP.

Walmart has it for $73.97 and free shipping. Both red and blue in stock.

Love the rival line! The motorized ones tend to be loud. If you want a manual one the Artemis is awesome. Not a bad price at Walmart for $47.86. Was about 10 bucks cheaper last week on Amazon (I know, no time machine. More for a reference).

Have fun!

So I gotta ask, is there a 'nerf war' place in Vancouver?

Yup it’s for the Khaos and nemesis but came out before the nemesis was created so its not listed as supported. Toysrus appears to have a nerf rival sal on across all products including guns and accessories if you want the battery at a discount. Edit: looks like amazon has the same price for the battery pack and likely the guns as well.

I use AA rechargeables with sleeves in my Rival, plus one lithium to boost the lower voltage of the stack to a "normal" voltage of standard alkalines.
Our office wars aren't very long so the smaller capacity isn't an issue. The voltage drop off with use is slower in rechargeables compared to alkalines anyways.
