I wonder if that is footage from both films, or just one?

Trailer: Grindhouse (Tarantino, Rodriguez, 'nuff said)
http://www.themoviebox.net/movies/20...se/trailer.phpTarantino and Rodriguez will each write and direct a 60-minute horror film, and the two films will be packaged under the title “Grind House,” which is planned for a spring 2006 release through the Weinstein Co.
It also will include its own trailers, bonus materials and added extras from other filmmakers that will be packaged together between the two horror flicks in a tribute to the old, big-city movie houses like those on New York’s 42nd Street that earned the moniker grindhouses for programming genre pictures back to back.
That just looks crazy kool....reminds me of From Dusk 'til Dawn when all seems normal then everything just goes to hell (in a good way) and anything goes. Over-the-top everything. Tarantino/Rodriguez = Gold.Last edited by Hanniganite; Oct 12th, 2006 at 12:52 AM.

Can't wait for this, anyone seen the "fake" trailers that were created for between the two features?
Check out Thanksgiving, by Eli Roth, Werewolf Women of the SS, by Rob Zombie, as well as Don't, by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead).
The more I learn about this concept, the more excited I get!
This is the best one: http://youtube.com/watch?v=6H249-dd-F4

Anyone and everyone should go see Grindhouse.
I saw it Wednesday night and if you're even remotely interested in either film I suggest you go see it/them asap.
Rodriguez fans will definitely enjoy the Rodriguez moments throughout his film. ie/ cheesy dialogue and outrageous explosions. It's so over the top and extremely enjoyable. The only fault I had with Planet Terror was that it seemed a little too high budget for an old-school low budget movie but it was still ridiculously entertaining and that's all that really matters in a film like this.
Tarantino fans will enjoy the long conversations and build to the 3'rd act of his film where it goes absolutely crazy. 2 guys behind me walked out within the first 25 mins. of Death Proof but I guess they just don't really get Tarantino's style because by the end of this one there was almost a unanimous standing ovation.
Also...I wouldn't look at the fake trailers online before going to see the movie on the big screen. It would really ruin the experience.Last edited by STREET JUSTICE; Apr 5th, 2007 at 09:54 AM.
