Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day
The finale of the Trailer Park Boys is here (hopefully we'll still see something from the boys in the future). Gonna miss new adventures at Sunnyvale.
Who else is going to go see the movie?

I'll go.
The problem with the original movie, is it wasn't in line with the tv series. They made it a standalone movie, like the tv show didn't exist. Thereby using jokes from the tv show in the movie.
I'm hoping this movie is a sequel to the finale that was aired on tv (where lehey won and they all went to jail).
I'll be dissapointed if they don't.

I went to go see the movie last night.... Their will be a sequel.
And the movie was pretty awesome. Not sure when spoilers are allowed to be mentioned, a week after?

I thought it was good but not great. The first 20 minutes and the last 45 are hilarious but the middle is really slow - it takes a while for any semblance of PLOT to kick in, which is fine for the TV Show, but for a movie, you need some sort of story to be the driving force. I liked the first movie better IMO, but this is still worth seeing for fans.

Really? I liked this movie alot more then I like the first one..
This one seemed more like the TV show to me than the last one. It seemed to be a sequel to the TV show, rather then its own standalone entity.
I quite liked it.

^^ Man, that's exactly what i wanted to hear.
The first movie kinda sucked in that way, trying to get to new audiences or something.
By the look of the commercials, it looks like they had a lot more budget for this film
And how did i not know they came for the premiere downtown!?

That was my main problem, it felt like a few eps of the show just shown in a row, rather than a MOVIE. When I go to the movies, I want to see a MOVIE. Was expecting something a bit more epic with a better driving storyline - like the first one had.

Do you have to know what happened in "Good Night to the Bad Guys" before you see the movie? I read elsewhere that the move is a conitnuation of GNTTBG (the last 45 min long episode).

not really... if you go on the assumption that they pretty much go to jail at the end of every season... then it'd all make sense..
just like the seasons, it starts with them getting out of jail (pretty much).
