Trailer: The Prestige ... Batman without the bat???
http://www.apple.com/trailers/touchstone/theprestige/
looks like a good movie
Chris Nolan... who directed Batman Begins...
teamed up with Christian Bale and Michael Caine again....
could be a set up for another hit...
and having Scarlett Johansson doesnt hurt too

My money's on the Xman.
Scarlett's accent is 'orrible._______________
From a "Family" reviewer: "We Cheer teaches coordination, enticement to lust, women being used as sex objects, and team work."
From Worthy Playing: "We Cheer is, then, for all intents and purposes, the F-Zero GX of music games. It asks for so much, yet forgives so little. It is actually so casual that it's hardcore."

Saw it, decent but unspectacular movie. There's some neat effects, but no reason to care about the main characters. That said, Rebecca Hall is quite good as Sarah and bears an uncanny resemblance to Rachel McAdams.
The storytelling is muddy, with key points that don't make sense until you've sat down and carefully examined the film. While a certain amount of this adds interesting layers and rewatchability to a film, there's far too much of it here and the lack of compassion the leads inspire don't merit the effort.
Between this and The Illusionist, I'd point in Edward Norton's direction.

Nice twists and turn, but the acting really sold it

Yeah, checked out this movie a few weeks back and it was definitely a good watch. Not amazingly great but also not a stinker. I would say it was worth the 10$ to watch in theatres.
Anyway, could I get some clarification on something.
SPOILER QUESTION:
So we find out that the machine that Tesla built for Hugh Jackman was creating clones of him and that he (Hugh) was drowning himself after every time he does the trick. My question is, which Hugh Jackman was getting teleported? In other words, which Hugh Jackman (original or clone) was getting drowned every night? Or was the teleported version randomly chosen...sometimes the original and sometimes the clone?
END OF SPOILER QUESTION

Didn't he say something like he was scared because he wouldn't know whether he was the one in the tank or not every night ? I hardly think it matters though. Both of them will feel like the same person anyhow.
Incidentally, it's this whole science fiction thing that really put me off this movie. It just felt so weirdly out of place.

another "clarification" (seems like this movie had some bits that weren't very clear)
The Christian Bale character. Where did his double come from? Wasn't it like, they just pulled it out of thin air?
