Travelling to Gatwick/Luton Airport?
Hey folks of RFD,
I am not sure where I am staying in London, but lets assume a place in the London city (still working on that part). How would I travel from there to either the Gatwick or Luton airport? How much would that cost?
Thanks.

I'd say, without a specific location, $35 GBP by coach.
Thats about how much i paid for a coach from Gatwick to Heathrow.

Try this site:
http://www.toandfromtheairport.com./
It has most airports in the world and links to transportation. I have used it and found it very helpful.

Inter airport busses are more expensive then buses just going to and from downtown london.
I think I paid about 10 pounds to take the bus from London Stansted to London center (forgot where exactly). Thats an hourish bus ride. If you have time to spare the bus is cheapest. Train is obviously the most comfortable way to go.

The Gatwick Express leaves from Victoria Station and goes straight to Gatwick Airport.
First Capital Connect leaves from various train stations in Central London to Luton Airport (via a shuttle bus). This is a "normal" train that makes stops along the way.
There are various bus/coach options to each airport as well that may be cheaper but are slower.
