Trip to New York from Toronto?
Hello everyone, me and seven of my friends are planning to take a trip to New York city. We want to leave on Fri, Dec 19th (at night) and leave New York on Mon, Dec 22nd (at night). I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a cheap way to get there. I've already been doing my own research and i found that megabus has the cheapest prices (as low as $50 for a round trip) but when i search for trips on the dates i said above no matches were found. I've also taken a look at Greyhound and found trips for the dates i want but is priced around $200 for a round trip. So if anyone has any more suggestions or knows why i cant find trips for those dates please reply, thanks.

I would like to go to NYC soon as well. I just love that city
A former colleague of mine took Greyhound. It was actually the one that fell in the curb about a year ago...

I believe you can also opt out of the activities the tours have planned.

I'm curious, if you opt out, would you get some money back? I would think that the total cost you pay includes everything (attractions/admissions, food, hotel, etc) even though all you want is to take the bus and stay at the hotel.

you can opt out...they will ask your for the fees while on the bus (the fee that you paid prior, only includes bus and hotel,no food or admissions whatsoever), from my last trip i paid extra 90$ for the extra tour and admissions and a dinner buffet on the first day...and this inludes the 8$/day tip

No you dont' get money back, instead you exclude yourself from paying the extra fees.. admission and food is not included in the original ticket price.
Still need to pay tip tho.
