In Europe Daniel Wellington is actually fairly well known brand like Michael Kors watch...
My escapement just seized up on reading that.

IMO Orient makes quality watches with Japanese movements
That's why I only like Seiko ... and only the Asian models because they cannot be purchased here in Canada.

Designs are more unique ...

Tisell is getting good reviews though they are more for a sub Homage. And ya Orient is making nice watches as well. I am on a waiting list for the Tisell sub but might just get a Mako or a Ray instead.

DW is OVERPRICED GARBAGE.

I would stick with Seiko or Citizen ...

Just ordered this, as they are now discontinued:

It occurs to me all my watches are made in countries that either lost WWII, or at the very least did not fight for the winning side.

I've been looking to buy this watch for a while but never got around to pulling the trigger. I absolutely love that long red seconds hand.

Looks like it's time for me to get a SARB065
I never understood the fascination with this watch. I guess the whole cocktail thing flies right past me. Perhaps it's prettier in person?

Personally, my "dress watch" is an Sotowa Antea KS or Stowa marine on leather strap. If I had the cash, I'd get a Nomos.

Anyway, get em while their hot. Seiya SHIPS really fast, using Canada Post. So no brokerage shenanigans.
