Trying to choose between two ISPs in Toronto

I am currently thinking of choosing one between the two

Bell Canada DSL - $49.99 a month, 400GB, 25MBPS

- Free dry loop ( Dry loop is required for all DSL internet without active phoneline)
- Bell will give my family a modem for free, and all Bell DSL modems have Wi-Fi ability
- If my family ever move, Bell will not charge moving fee

eBox - $37.99 a month, 100GB, 15MBPS

- No need for a dry loop ( Cable Internets do not need dry loop)
- Free and unlimited internet from 2AM in the morning until the next 2PM
- My family already has a modem capable with eBox cable Internet and a very adequate Wi-Fi router
- Moving fee is $85

I am still trying to decide which one my family should go for. Both eBox and Bell offers installation fee waived offer

TekSavvy does not look any cheaper than Bell / Rogers cable

Rogers currently offers 100MBPS / Unlimited for $65 a month for two years but realistically speaking I do not see my family needing 100MBPS / Unlimited internet

Or do you have any recommendation for an awesome ISP in Toronto?

I've had bell dsl that kept going down and required service calls all the time. I switched to teksavy, bought a $20 modem and haven't had a problem in over 2 years. Just something to consider.

Start Communications is my best suggestion. Another provider you should consider looking is VMedia. As for CIK and CarryTel, I'm not sure how good these companies are for internet service....

Thanks for all your responses. I will have to acknowledge that while Rogers cable Internet is a bit more expensive, I read complaints about them a lot less often than I read complaints about DSL internet

stay. away. from . bell. They will promise you things, get you hooked, then the billing "errors" start. Then you threaten to leave, the billing "errors" get resolved for a month or 2. Then the phantom charges, more billing errors, and random fees appear.

We are on ebox, but the 25/10 dsl side, it's 37/mo w/ 150G prime time, and free off peak. If you go 15/1 the cap is at 350G + off peak @ $37.

I'm happy with them.
