TS: NO GST (6% discount) on purchases over $100
I know this isn't advertised anywhere... but at the source... from now till then end of July they are offering "NO GST" on purchases of $100 or more. The way it is entered is a 6% discount off the total purchase... and then gst is re-applied. Could work out to some savings on big items.
laters,
Frysterio

Clarification
Hey guys, I just wanted to clarify. The NO GST DOES apply to laptops and desktops that are classified as STOP BUY, SOLD WHEN GONE, or DISCONTINUED.
Those machines are normally marked down anyway because they are slightly older models (as little as one month) and are not nessesarilly display models either.
Just ask the salesperson if it is active or stop buy.

Jul 27th, 2006 12:12 AM #8Not entirely accurate...a privately owned store may have done this once to get rid of an old computer but this is not the going sale for all corporate stores.
