Kinda interested in this deal!
Anyone have any opinions on this? Hot, Warm, or Cold?

Worth it for the rapid charger.

Pretty hot deal, although the rapid charging stand isn't as good as the regular rapid charger IMO. You have to take the PB out of the case to use it, and sometimes the pins get bent and stop working (or so I've heard). Also, I'd be more inclined to buy from a store where you can easily return it in case you have dead pixels or other problems....

Thanks for your opinion! I saw that Crackberry was selling the charger for $59.99. The charger, gel skin, zipper case and hdmi cable probably has a retail value of $90 all together!
Seeing how BB, FS, WM are selling the 64GB model for $299 I thought this was a good deal as well.
Great buy!

Called in to ask how long the shipping would take. They said it would take around 15 business days because the device is coming directly from RIM's warehouse.

You're pretty much buying directly from RIM when you're buying from TSC since it's coming directly from RIM's warehouse. I don't see too many problems concerning returns or replacement if there is something wrong with the Playbook.

Newbie
I just ordered this bundle. I don't need the 64GB but for that price with a case that I would buy anyway and the other accessories this is a great deal considering the 32GB Playbook at BB or FS is 249. Also, TSC has a 30 day money back garantee compared to 14 days for FS or BB.
P.S. I was told that I would receive my order 7-10 days.

May be coming directly from RIM's warehouse but I don't know what TSC's policies are like. As much as I hate FS/BB, you can take it back within 30 days for any reason and request a refund or complete exchange. It's possible that TSC will expect you to cover return shipping costs even if an item is defective (not 100% sure about this) and will most likely charge a restock fee if you choose to return.

Not so sure of that, unless you've got more info/a source. When I got in on the HP Touchpad deal at TSC last year the tablet package shipped in one big box from TSC's Mississauga warehouse. The box they shipped it in included a pre-printed postage label in case you wanted to return the item.

Called and spoke with the CSR at TSC and that's the info that I got from them.
Update: I ended up canceling my order because after careful thinking and calculations, this isn't too hot of a deal. Sure the accessories and what not are included but for $323 ($365 with tax) I'd rather spend it on a laptop with better specs. OS2 came out and it seemed pretty neat and all that and made me want to get my hands on the PB even more but I can always wait a few months for a better deal!

btw, back in the HP Touchpad rush on at TSC, dozens of RFD'ers were calling in trying to order/get info, the CSRs were seemingly making up information on the fly to answer people, they didn't seem to really know much of anything (its a call centre, cant blame them). On the plus side, one of the callers got them to divulge the product number for the touchpad, and that was the key bit of info needed to place orders via the automated attendant and voila, it sold out in a mad RFD rush before it was supposed to be on sale at 7am the next day.

Yea I called in to ask shipping information and ended up speaking to a lady who claimed that it would take 15 days since it was being shipping from the manufacturer's warehouse. When I called back to cancel my order 35 minutes later, I was surprised that I was talking to the same lady.
They're pretty smart making this bundle right after the release of OS2 for people who weren't able to get the 32GB for $150 (including myself). With all the hype OS2 was getting, I really wanted to get my hands on a Playbook. Another thing is that on the confirmation e-mail I was given, it stated that we can only cancel our orders before 12 midnight of the day we placed our orders. So for people who are having 2nd thoughts about their purchase, they've got around 15 minutes left to cancel or else everything is final.
